Some thoughts after the first experiment

I obtained two 2.5m x 1.37 metre lengths of the material I'm going to use to project onto.

I also obtained 30 metres of rope which I tied to support pillars on either side of the room. Then I hung the material like shrouds, but this posed a couple of problems.

1) It was too long and bunched up at the floor.
2) I couldn't get them taunt enough and there was a gap in the middle.
3) There wasn't enough space between the door and the projection material.
4) The material wasn't wide enough to make the projection as large as I wanted.

What I'll need to do is rig the line diagonally so the room is divided in half. I'll get the material stitched together length ways giving making it about 5 metres long. Then I'll get another 2.5 metre length and cut it in half then stitch each ahlf to the 2.5 metres length. So that will give me 2 metres in height which should be just about right.

Now I need to draw up some diagrams so this information is easier to interpret.
