Its important to conduct some early tests of the reincarnation effect because I have absolutely no idea how to achieve it. The reason this tests are so important is because I need to know which shots to film on location.
Once again YouTube has trimmed them from 16:9 to 4:3.

That looks good.Maybe having 'Gigh' on the ground.
(Also, if you haven't, there is a scene in the New Harry Potter film that shows a misle toe growing. You should take a look at that.)
Another idea is to have the charact grow with the tree (like you have) but have the tree puff away and said character fall to ground or stumble.
